Have you ever walked into a place and wondered, “Do I really belong here?” In a recent episode of The Salvation Army’s podcast, Words of Life, we heard the story of Hannah, a young woman who has used a wheelchair since childhood. Her story is not defined by what she can’t do, but by the God who has faithfully walked with her and the community that has surrounded her. But her testimony also challenges us. As followers of Christ, we have to ask: Are we creating spaces where everyone knows they belong? Are our churches, our worship services, and our events welcoming and accessible for all people? Because inclusion isn’t just about making room in a building. It’s about making room for people in our lives. Jesus saw people others overlooked. May we do the same.
